A scenic property, nicknamed little blue, right on the water's edge. Here, a magical path winds down through forest and stream to a grotto at the beach below ~ a quiet sanctuary to soothe a weary soul and renew the creative spirit.
Presented by Saul Bell Award winning metal clay artist Rodica (Rodi) Frunze, you will learn the A-Z of creating with sterling silver metal clay as Rodi guides you into discovering your inner creative world.

This 4 day program will give you hands on experience in understanding and developing techniques for working with fine silver .999 metal clay.
Previous metal clay experience is not required.
Under Rodi's guidance you will create your own template and design, your own unique version of the example piece that incorporates all the hand -forming techniques.
You will decorate both the front and the back of the pendant with hand formed and carved elements.
After kiln firing the piece, you will also bezel set a gemstone by creating and soldering a symmetrical bezel setting.
You will also sand, polish and patina your piece based on your preferred finish. This workshop is designed to develop or enhance your hand-forming metal clay.
