This wonderfully hand formed sterling silver ring contains a beautiful natural Fire Opal gemstone with a rich array of rainbow flashes. This amazing gemstone is caressed by a delicate bouquet of floral ribbons providing a majestic setting.

Ubuntu of African origins translates to "humanity or compassion" is the inspiration of this creation. As we are all influenced by the tribes that surround us, those influences can produce fear of others of a different tribe. Ubuntu points us to living a life of compassion and of embracing the unknown. For if each person was to open their heart and release the fear, the "Tribal Dream" of living in harmony would be realized. Are you ready to live with "Ubuntu"?

Hand formed with hand carved details, this ring is .925 sterling silver to ensure durability. The addition of a light patina (oxidation) highlights the intricate details and sets the stage for the natural opal.

The Opal originates from the Welo mine in Ethiopia and is 0.6 ct (5 mm x 8 mm) oval and produces amazing green - yellow - orange flashes.

Ubuntu is intended as a talisman to compassion, to be the constant reminder that the energy invested in the caring of others, is to embrace the love that is life.
